Zighra, the leading personalized identity defense platform, is announcing their first-ever patent through the U.S. patent office. The company has plans to create a significant IP portfolio in the authentication space, becoming the de facto standard for AI-Powered Continuous Authentication worldwide.

The patent covers the technology contained in Zighra’s high-speed AI engine, specifically protecting the company’s ability to create a cognitive signature to authenticate each user through sensor-based intelligence obtained from six distinct layers of data. This technology can be extended exponentially, to provide an N-dimensional approach to authentication in verticals such as IoT and autonomous vehicles. The deep learning algorithms that Zighra uses enable the platform to be more accurate and much faster than the traditional linear machine learning algorithms used currently.

“With every new technological achievement comes a new series of threats,” says Deepak Dutt, CEO, Zighra. “Protection levels need to be accurate, intuitive, multi-faceted and frictionless, to enable users to focus on living their lives and conducting their business, rather than protecting their identities and assets.”

As we move into a mobile-first, sensor-based, connected world, an N-dimensional approach to authentication becomes increasingly important. With behavioral intelligence, how we interact becomes the password. Combined with other N-dimensional elements, the user’s profile is unassailably specific. Zighra is looking to work with companies that want to license the platform.
